Lewisburg, PA — With just one season as a competitive club team behind them, the Bucknell Bison hope to become a bigger presence on campus and to be competitive with all the teams they play.
The Bison, who finished 3rd in the Emerging Teams Division during their first trip to the National Team Championships last year, will only lose their number 5 player, Zenhar Marolio. At the top of the ladder is a trio of sophomores: captain Kirk Bonner, Griffin Snyder, and Morgan Beeson, who played goalie for his state champion lacrosse team. Senior Geoff Novak, who also plays rugby for Bucknell, will return as well, and the Bison hope to add more players once practices get under way.
The Bison are looking forward to playing other Patriot League teams and have plans to become involved in community service as a team this year. “Bucknell Squash is a growing program with much support,” says Bonner.
